How can you find out if you are eligible for VACAF support?

VACAF assistance is not provided directly by the campsite. It is awarded by your CAF based on a number of criteria, including your family income quotient, the composition of your household, the ages of your children and the planned dates of your holiday.

If you are eligible, you should normally have received a notification from your CAF. You can also find information about your entitlements on the CAF’s official website.

This notification usually sets out the main terms and conditions of your grant: the turnout, the approved limit, the permitted periods and, in some cases, the duration to be observed.

You therefore do not need to submit a new application for financial assistance to Camping Le Rousieux. Our role is to check the entitlements already granted by your CAF and to apply them to your planned stay.

Each CAF applies its own conditions

The rate, the ceiling and the permitted periods may vary depending on your department and your circumstances. SOnly by checking your file can you find out the actual amount of your grant.

How do I book a VACAF holiday at Camping Le Rousieux?



Step 1

Check whether you are eligible

Check the notification sent by your CAF or log in to your personal account to check that you are indeed receiving theFamily Holiday Grant for the current year.



Step 2

Plan your holiday

Select the dates you’d like to stay at Camping Le Rousieux, specify the number of adults and children in your party, and find the type of holiday that suits you best.

You can do the following beforehand view the accommodation options at the campsite without making your booking straight away.



Step 3

Contact Le Rousieux directly

Before finalising a standard online booking, please contact us, specifying that you wish to use your VACAF support.

We will provide you with the information needed to assess your enquiry and check availability for your chosen dates.



Step 4

Get a quote for your treatment

Starting from your benefit claimer’s number, based on the conditions set by your CAF and the cost of your stay, we calculate the amount that may be covered, as well as the amount still to be paid.

This means you know the exact amount before you commit.



Step 5

Please confirm your booking

Once you have checked the amount you are required to pay, you can confirm your booking in accordance with the arrangements provided by the campsite.

A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.

Have your VACAF cover checked

Please contact Hélène and Luc, stating that you are receiving VACAF support. Once we have checked your application and availability, we will let you know the amount covered, your outstanding balance and the procedures for confirming your stay.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR BUDGET

How is your VACAF co-payment calculated?

The amount of your benefit depends on the entitlements granted by your CAF and the cost of the holiday for the dates you have chosen.

Your CAF determines the rate and the maximum amount of your financial assistance. Camping Le Rousieux then applies this contribution to the cost of your planned stay and will inform you the amount you are required to pay.

The VACAF grant is paid directly to the campsite and deducted from the cost of your holiday. This means you do not have to pay the portion covered by your CAF up front.

However, the tourist tax, the security deposit, optional extras or certain additional services may not be included. You will be informed of these details before your booking is confirmed.

You can view the campsite prices and availability, but Only once your application has been checked will we be able to determine the actual amount due.

A few points to bear in mind before planning your trip

What is the difference between VACAF and the AVF?

VACAF is the system used by the CAFs and partner holiday organisations to manage various forms of financial assistance. TheAVF, or Family Holiday Grant, is a grant intended for family holidays.

What should I do if I haven’t received any VACAF notifications?

Please check your personal account or contact your CAF directly. Camping Le Rousieux can verify entitlements that have already been granted, but cannot determine your eligibility or submit a claim for financial assistance.

Does the VACAF grant guarantee that a holiday will be available?

No. Your VACAF entitlements and the campsite’s availability are two separate matters. It is therefore best to contact Le Rousieux well in advance to check what options are available for your dates.

Can I offer several different stay periods?

Yes. Specifying several time periods makes it easier to find availability that meets the criteria set by your CAF and is in line with the accommodation still available.

Can ANCV holiday vouchers be used with VACAF?

It may be possible to combine these offers, depending on the conditions applicable to your booking and the payment terms for your stay. Please check with the campsite before making your payment.
